The only way you are going to acquire
a large vocabulary in a foreign language is practice. Unfortunately
most of us can't live among native speakers long enough to get
the practice required. This site provides a way for you to learn
vocabulary words through repetition. It might be boring
but
it gets the job done. How does it work? You choose the language you are interested in, and the site begins asking you to translate words. If you get words wrong, it will repeat those words, in order to reinforce the correct translation. The site keeps track of which words you have mastered and which you are working on, so you can go away and come back and take up where you left off. If you don't like the huge standard database of foreign language vocabulary we offer, you can create your own lists of words to drill and practice. You may be interested in the history of this site. Then again, you probably aren't . If you do not have a logon name and password, you can sign-up without fuss. This site is free, and it always will be, if I have anything to say about it.
